Owning a salon has been a lifelong dream of mine and I couldn’t be luckier than I am at Stone. Our team and our clients inspire me on a daily basis - Stone is about excellent customer service, a calm and relaxing environment, creative people producing beautiful work. It’s truly an environment I love to be in and feel very grateful for.
I’ve been given so many amazing opportunities throughout my career and I feel super passionate about growing my skill set constantly - I firmly believe that in this industry you never stop learning from those around you.
PATRICK - SENIOR STYLIST

I’ve been hairdressing for over 25 years. Since qualifying in South Africa I started my career as a hair stylist working for several years on Cruise ships. I had the fortune to work and travel South and Central America, Australia and Europe. It’s an experience which I feel has enriched me by working with such and diverse range of clients from all over the world. I joined the team here at Stone 12 years ago where we all share a similar work ethos and philosophy about life and those we share within it.
With regards to hair, I look for peoples’ individual characteristics. What makes their faces unique? I will try to provide them with a style that compliments their look and way of living.
I enjoy variety of documentaries, reading ,running ect and I’m passionate about self-improvement and growth ultimately.
JOCASTA - STYLIST

Ever since I was young, hair has always excited me. My grandmother used to let me put her rollers in, standing on a chair behind her when I was about 5! She was also a hairdresser so I love that I have followed in her footsteps.
Hairdressing allows me to release my creativity and break out of the ‘norm’. No hairstyle is ever the same, just like no two people are ever the same.

Working at Stone is awesome, it’s freeing, funny & fulfilling, being part of this team is a beautiful opportunity for me and I love every minute of it! It allows me to be myself and work with some truly inspirational people.

When I’m not in the salon, I love being outside, nature is a huge part of my life. I enjoy long drives and walks with my beautiful dog but still making sure I have time for self-care!
CHARLIE - STYLIST

My mum always said I would be a hairdresser when I grew up as I was always playing with my hair or my friends, and I am so glad I found my way to becoming one, the fact I wake up every day excited about going to work makes me very happy ☺
Finding my way to stone has been the best thing ever, the atmosphere and the people make working here a breath of fresh air, I have learnt so much from the people around me, and they have made me the hairdresser I am today.
When I’m not in the salon, I’m very much a home body I love being round my family and my loved one, I also I’m a big foodie and enjoy eating especially roast dinners ☺
SARAH - STYLIST

I have been very fortunate to love hairdressing from a younger age and managed to persue it as a career.
I love creating all different colours and cuts on clients, whether that’s highlighted blondes with textured beach waves, keratin treatments or a glossy brunette styled smooth to show off the shine!

I’ve always had a passion for hair and beauty and, after working in the hospitality industry for most of my working life, I realised that the customers, giving them a wonderful experience and building meaningful relationships was what I loved so much about my job. I wanted to transfer this love into a profession that I adored and hairdressing was it - I want to channel my creativity while making people feel amazing inside and out with my work and see clients leaving feeling rejuvenated and brand new; a living piece of art.
Thanks to the wonderful souls at Stone, I now have the opportunity, confidence and support to realise my dream. It’s a salon unlike any other I’ve been in, full of the most glorious, vibrant but calming energy that’s difficult to come across.
